2008 Auction
PCS puts the Fun in Fundraising
Dear PCS Parents,
Remember the candy bar fundraiser we had in the fall and the magazines we had the students sell for Christmas? Oh, that's right, we didn't do those because we know how little we make for the school and how much time they require our parents.
Our auction, however, has proven to provide a substantial amount for our school and gives us all a reason to take our wives out for a nice meal, dancing, and an opportunity to win the bidding on some incredible auction items (check here after March 17 for a listing of the auction items).
What makes Providence distinct is our sense of community, our fabulous teachers, and our pursuit of the true, the good, and the beautiful. All of these distinctions are supported by our auction. We get to fellowship around the table of good food, we have the opportunity to give big (and have our donation matched up to 3 times) for our teacher bonuses, and we get to celebrate the development of truth, goodness, and beauty in our children.
Seats for the auction are going fast so please make your reservation for this community-building event this week before Easter Break. If this is your first year at Providence, you won't want to miss this wonderful celebration of God's work in our school.
In His grace,
Troy Wathen
Headmaster
